Saving Pets, One Paw at a Time
A no kill shelter for pet dogs & cats
We just wanted to write to you and thank you again for taking such good care of Simba while he waited for his forever home. He is such a joy to us and seems to be happy here as well.
Simba moved in with us about a month ago now and we already cannot imagine life without him. He likes to play Tag with our Alley girl (a stray we took in last year she's about 2, 21/2 years old) and, while he shows the utmost respect for our Matriarch, Sammy (we rescued her 3 1/2 years ago she'll turn 10 this year), we catch him 'stalking' her playfully when her back is turned. He loves laying in my bed with Alley and snuggling when we hold him. He purrs almost instantly when we pick him up unless he's in the middle of stalking something (one of his bell balls or his "candy wrapper' toy that he brought with him when he moved in with us.
We love Simba so much. His character and personality are a perfect fit for our household and I find myself laughing more (at his antics) and smiling just because. He's the perfect mix of playful and frisky/ sweet and cuddly.
This is a picture of him smiling with His "step sister" Alley...we will celebrate his birthday with mine (on cinco de mayo) and I'll try and remember to send birthday pics
P.S. We still plan on volunteering at Waggin Tails Shelter. we've had some family illness and a run of dr appointments standing in our way but I will be filling out the volunteer form shortly.
Thank you again
WE ADORE SIMBA and he's doing so well.
THANK YOU AGAIN.
